EMBRACE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
WITH THE MEET!

The Mobile Experiential English Teacher offers a fresh, unconventional way to learn English—far beyond the walls of a traditional classroom. Rooted in non-formal, experiential learning, this program is designed for newcomers, permanent residents, Canadians, refugees, tourists, and international students alike. Classes take place in vibrant, real-life settings around Calgary—like parks, cafés, and neighbourhoods—where students build confidence, fluency, and connection through meaningful, everyday interactions.

ABOUT
THE MEET

Meet Ace, the Mobile Experiential English Teacher (MEET). He holds a Master’s in Education, specializing in Comparative, International, and Development Education from the University of Toronto, and is CELTA-certified by Cambridge for teaching English to adults. With years of experience teaching learners of all ages—from young children to seniors—Ace has worked with different educational institutions in Canada and abroad.

After witnessing the recent reduction in LINC funding and the growing gaps in newcomer support, Ace decided to step beyond the system. He launched his own mobile, non-formal English education initiative to meet learners where they are—literally. Through immersive, real-life language learning across Calgary’s parks and public spaces, Ace empowers newcomers, refugees, international students, and Canadians to strengthen their English skills, find meaningful work, and move closer to their dreams in Canada.

Ace offers a unique approach to learning English, focusing on experiential and non-formal education. He is dedicated to providing an immersive language learning experience for students of diverse backgrounds.

Ace aims to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, helping students develop their English language skills in real-life settings.
